Description from the seller
Worlds I Carry Alone
I stand where thresholds blur, robed in silk that holds every colour I have ever mourned - coral, midnight, ivory worn soft as forgetting. My hair is crowned with small, bright things that mean nothing now. In my hands, a globe turns quietly, as though the weight of it were tender rather than heavy. Two black cats keep their patient vigil at my feet, unbothered by the blue spheres drifting behind me like planets that chose not to leave. The dark swallows the doorframe whole. I do not step through. I simply remain, poised between one breath and the next, where stillness feels less like peace than like waiting made beautiful.

About the Artist
Enigma is an Italian surrealist who paints their own likeness into worlds of pure imagination - not to tell a story, but to ask a question.
The figures are deliberately genderless, blending masculine and feminine so no single identity stands between the viewer and the canvas.
Reality bends through frames within frames: rooms open onto other rooms, other skies, other selves, rendered in smooth, luminous brushwork and blocks of bold, contrasting color.
Each painting is a dreamscape where memory, symbol, and self dissolve into one another - and every canvas is one of a kind, never repeated.
