Stunning and very extensive English blue-and-white ironstone dinnerware set from the well-known manufacturer Enoch Wedgwood dating from around 1950.
This dinnerware is executed in the highly coveted and detailed "Historical ports of England" pattern.
The central images depict atmospheric historical English harbour scenes with sailing ships, framed by a rich floral border with nautical cartouches.
The dinnerware is in a nice, used vintage condition with minimal signs of aging.
The set consists of the following pieces:
1x Large oval serving dish (length = 36 cm / width = 29 cm)
1x Elegant gravy boat / sauce tureen (Length = 20 cm / width = 10 cm / height = 7.5 cm)
9x dinner plates (diameter 26 cm)
9x soup plates / deep plates (diameter 22 cm / height = 7 cm)
3x small cake plates (diameter 14.5 cm)
2x salad bowls (diameter 22 cm / height 7 cm & diameter 25 cm / height 8 cm)
