An amber sky opens in the upper part of the canvas, bright and warm as the light at the end of the day. Below, a field of red and magenta poppies grows thick on slender stems, with dense, tactile petals that catch the light. The base becomes darker and deeper, brown and garnet, giving root to the entire composition. Golden reflections cross the surface and bind the field to the sky in a single movement. The patches of color thin as they rise, until dissolving into scattered points in the gold. A warm and generous work, that returns the fullness of a blooming field at the moment of maximum light.
