HEAVY SOLID GOLD CORDAGE COCKTAIL RING WITH GARNETS (14g)
• Designation: Dome Cocktail Ring with Cordage Decoration and Garnet Line
• Certified era: Circa 1950 - 1970 (Retro / High Jewelry period)
• Structure: Solid yellow gold (Alloy certified 14k or 18k by external hallmark)
• Gemstones: 3 natural garnets, oval faceted, deep red in color
• Certified weight: 14 grams (on a digital scale)
• Marking found: Impression of an official assay hallmark identified on the outer rim of the lower smooth shank, partially polished and worn by historical use
• Conservation note: Very good vintage condition (gold mass intact, micro-oxidation of copper in the alloy localized in the crevices of the twisted wire)
