Description from the seller
ROLEX FULL SET GMT MASTER 6542 consisting of:
N.B. The GMT Master 6542 watch, in good condition, can exceed €100,000, and this full set can increase its value by up to €10,000.
1 - Chronometer certificate code: RP. 1201. XI 59 - 2M
2 - 4-page GMT-MASTER booklet from November 1958, current through 1961, year of release of the new model 1575 code: RC. 232. XI 58. 5000
3 - Plastic watch case contemporaneous to the era
4 - Red tag without hologram, round in shape, contemporaneous to the era
5 - Green tag, rectangular shape with protruding crown, contemporaneous to the era
6 - Green pyramid-shaped leather box - NO CODE - very rare, one of the first produced by Rolex toward the late 1950s, early 1960s, with white satin lining inside at the top and green felt at the bottom. The hinges are...
The box is contemporaneous for all watches from the late 50s to the late 60s, certainly for all models with a four-digit reference, knowing that Rolex started adding the code to boxes only in 1970/71.
It is a box about 66 years old, hard to find in good condition.
The hinges have no snap and work perfectly, even after 66 years of life.
In short, the box is nice and in good condition for use, as evidenced by the photos that are an integral part of the description.
7 - The watch cushion has been newly made to resemble as closely as possible the original.
Shipping will be tracked and insured.
