The figures climb, carry, reach and balance around each other. From every viewing angle a different composition of bodies, movement and open space emerges. The work depicts human connectedness and cooperation: individual beings who together form a single whole.
The warm bronze- and gold-toned hues emphasize the organic modeling of the figures. Through the relief-like finish the surface captures the light differently each time, causing the sculpture to change strongly depending on position and lighting.
