Frequency VANDYKE BROWN is inspired by sound and frequency. From my work as a pianist I translate rhythm, pause and repetition into a visual structure.
The composition follows a reduced order. Repetitions generate tensions comparable to held tones, while subtle color shifts mark transitions.

Title: Frequency VANDYKE BROWN
Size: 80 × 80 cm × 4.5 cm
Technique & Materials: Acrylic paint and Heavy-Gel structure paste on canvas, built up in layers with different spatulas. The pigments form elevations and overlays with a calm, pulsing tension.
Only materials of the highest quality are used: Amsterdam Expert acrylics, Liquitex structure pastes – all locally produced in Austria.
Frame: Wide hanging frame made of solid natural wood (included in price).
(Black decorative frame not included)
Images: The images were photographed under professional studio lighting. The light is essential for the color play of the works. The artist recommends placement under direct or indirect light to fully reveal the color play and make the works appear lively.
