Five Baccarat crystal bottles, Gondole model, made in France, dating to circa 1910–1920, in good used condition with minor signs of age.
Description from the seller
Lot of 6 bottles in Baccarat crystal. From the renowned “Gondole” model, one of the most historic and celebrated shapes in the Baccarat universe, introduced by the French crystal maker as early as the mid-19th century. In the maison’s official catalogs (such as the historic 1907 and 1916 editions), the term gondole shapes defines both a specific line of glasses and goblets, and the rounded, bulbous silhouette of decanters and carafes. The lower body and the neck are decorated with flat ribs and hand-molated vertical fluting. The piece is topped by an original crystal stopper faceted and star-cut. The bottle with flat ribbing appears on page 56 of the Baccarat catalog from 1907. Pieces from this period do not bear the circular signature with the acid-etched Baccarat logo; this mark was only routinely introduced by the crystal house starting in 1936. Height varies around 29–31 cm, see photo. See photos for the condition and dimensions of all pieces. I do not ship outside the EU. The lot will be carefully packed and shipped in a reinforced polystyrene box.
