Description from the seller

Binoculars manufactured by the mechanical opticians of the Royal Factory of the Habsburgs.

1870

The mark stamped in gold inside the case is exceptionally well preserved. Made by Neuhöfer & Sohn in Vienna, known for producing technical and optical instruments in the 19th and 20th centuries.
The inscription mentions "Hof-Optiker", indicating that they were court opticians, and cites their historic address at Kohlmarkt 8 in Vienna.
The inscription "Grosse goldene Medaille" (Great Gold Medal) suggests that the manufacturer won prestigious awards for the quality of its products.
The logo includes the royal Serbian coat of arms ("KÖNIGL. SERBISCHE"), suggesting that the supplier was authorized by the royal household to export the product to that kingdom.

Adjustable objective. Working without play or damage in the movement.
The case is completely intact and in excellent condition.

Tracked shipment and careful packing
