PVettese - Love N Money 2

Love N Money II is an original work by the French artist PVettese, created in mixed media on canvas, in a 60 × 51 cm format.

At the center of the composition, Mr Monopoly takes his place in an imposing Dom Pérignon champagne coupe, while a rain of green banknotes crosses the scene. This pop iconography, immediately recognizable, contrasts with a rawer background made of graffiti, drips, projections, overlays and texturing effects, features of the artist's visual language.

The palette mainly blends greens, turquoise, black, white and gold. The banknotes seem to float around the figure and contribute to the overall movement of the composition. The meeting of references to popular culture, the luxury universe and street-art energy gives the work a strong graphical presence.

Technique and characteristics of the work:
The work is entirely handmade using a mixed technique involving different layers, materials, projections and overlays. The surface may intentionally present irregularities, roughness, reliefs, texture variations or small marks related to the creative process. These particularities are an integral part of the artist's technique and aesthetics. They are not defects of the work, nor damage related to transport.
