Description from the seller
"cells 6" is a unique abstract artwork that, with its organic structure and deep, monochrome color palette, creates a special atmosphere.
Fine branchings, flowing forms, and seemingly randomly created cell structures come together to form a fascinating mesh. The longer you look at the work, the more details become visible – like a microcosm that only fully reveals itself on the second glance.
The combination of spray paint and EVA copolymers creates an exceptional surface with depth, tension, and a vivid texture. The interplay of anthracite, gray, black, and light accents feels simultaneously powerful and calm and can harmoniously integrate into modern, minimalist as well as elegant interiors.
With its portrait orientation of 30 × 150 cm, "cells 6" is especially suited for narrow wall surfaces, entrance areas, living spaces, or as a striking solitary piece in a stylish interior.
Hand-painted original from the abstract series "soft geometry" by the artist Yannick Leniger.
- Mixed media on canvas
- highly brilliant colors
- textured surface
- certificate of authenticity
- ready to hang
In 2003, Yannick Leniger began graffiti painting and gained experience with spray paints and the properties of various substrates during nocturnal sessions.
In 2010, Yannick Leniger started creating his characteristic works from the flowering series, which enjoy great popularity. Through the combination with spray paints and acrylic, Leniger developed various techniques that produce unique effects in his works. These mixed techniques are also found in Leniger’s current works. Influenced by artists such as Christiaan Lieverse and Pier Toffoletti, the current works depict people who are elaborated in conjunction with texture-providing means. In several steps, parts are masked, revised, and highlighted.
From 2019 to 2022, Yannick Leniger was a member and treasurer of Kunstforderer e.V. in Unna and supported the association in a variety of creative projects with children and adolescents, schools, and after-school programs. Since 2023, Yannick Leniger has been the first chairman of Kunstforderer e.V. in Unna.
