Antique Key-Wound Pocket Watch – 0.800 Silver – Chester Sterling Silver Bow/Fob 1911 – Working

Description

Beautiful antique mechanical key-wound pocket watch with an elaborately engraved 0.800 silver case, supplied with its winding key and an antique English silver bow/fob.

The watch has a classic white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, decorative hour markers and elegant hands. The back of the case features detailed floral and geometric engraving with a central cartouche.

The case is marked 0.800 silver and bears additional numbers/marks visible in the photographs.

The mechanical key-wound movement is in very good working condition. It winds correctly with the supplied key, runs smoothly and has kept time very well during testing.

The accompanying antique bow/fob bears Chester, England silver hallmarks dating to 1911. Please see the detailed photographs of the hallmarks.

Total weight: 44.35 g, including the complete watch, movement and accompanying components.

Condition: Very good antique condition considering its age. Normal signs of age and use, light scratches and patina are present. The engraved decoration remains attractive and well defined. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form an integral part of the description.

Included in the sale:
– Antique 0.800 silver pocket watch
– Antique Chester silver bow/fob, hallmarked 1911
– Winding key

The watch was tested before sale and was running well and keeping time very well. However, because this is an antique mechanical timepiece, long-term accuracy and future performance cannot be guaranteed.
