Artistic description
Cartografía de Luz is an abstract work on a 100 x 100 cm canvas, mounted on a pine wood frame, created as a living composition of color, rhythm and texture.
In this piece I aimed to build an emotional map: small traces of color that appear, cross paths and dialog with each other over a luminous background. The tones of sea blue, turquoise, pink, fuchsia, beige and golden ochre create a cheerful, fresh and sophisticated feeling, like fragments of memories, glimpses of summer or small windows of light scattered across the canvas.
Texture plays an essential role. The brushstrokes and denser layers add depth and physical presence, making the work change with light and the distance from which it is observed. Up close, the gesture, the matter and the energy of the process are perceived; from afar, the composition becomes balanced, elegant and decorative.
It is a work designed to bring vitality without losing delicacy. It has a cheerful, contemporary and very versatile presence, capable of illuminating a bright space or creating a strong contrast in a dark and sophisticated environment. Its square format gives it visual strength and balance, making it a standout piece.
