CBS/Sony original 1978 manifesto dedicated to “Bob Dylan at Budokan,” the celebrated live album released following the artist’s Japanese performances at Nippon Budokan in Tokyo.
The large color photographic image portrays Bob Dylan on stage with a guitar, offering a visually representative testimony of the period and the musical aesthetic of the late seventies.
Along the lower margin are listed the original CBS/Sony credits, the 1978 CBS Sony Inc. copyright, the CBS 96004 code, the CBS/Sony logo, and the label “Not For Sale,” the original elements present on the print.
An interesting archival document dedicated to one of the most important artists in the history of music, particularly suitable for Bob Dylan collectors, rock memorabilia, and original seventies music material.
Dimensions: approximately 84 × 59 cm.
Conditions
Poster in fair/good overall condition, with signs of aging and storage compatible with its age.
Includes:
- original folds;
- light waviness and signs of storage in correspondence with the folds;
- one sizeable tear on the right side, professionally consolidated on the back with Japanese paper to ensure stability;
- light traces of previous mounting on the back;
- minimal surface marks and slight edge imperfections.
Overall the poster retains an excellent visual impact, with colors still bright and the image well preserved.
