Nasa per Omega 1969 is a set of 20 photographic prints from the Apollo 11 mission, printed in 1969 by Hallwag in Switzerland for Omega, each approximately 40 × 50 cm, housed in a solid crater-pattern box with a commemorative sheet and the autographs of Armstrong, Aldrin and Collins, produced as one of 200 copies and in good condition.
Description from the seller
Printed by Hallwag in Switzerland for Omega in 1969, this unique set consists of 20 photos of the first Moon landing in 1969 and reproduces the iconic original NASA photos of the Apollo lunar mission.
Intended to be gifted to SELECTED buyers of the Omega Chronograph Speedmaster watch (the so-called "Moonwatch") in only 200 specimens worldwide, this box set has remained intact and COMPLETE against the ravages of time.
The 20 historic images of the Apollo and Gemini missions are gathered in a distinctive package ("the Moon Crater") made of sturdy colored cardboard with a crater motif, along with the introductory sheet featuring a commemorative page and the autographs of the three first Apollo 11 lunar astronauts: Armstrong, Aldrin and Collins.
Further information in the infographic; for space reasons not all 20 photos are depicted, but all are in equally pristine condition, with slight and inevitable yellowing on some edges, yet original colors because they were never exposed to direct light, dust, or smoke.
Dimensions of the photographic prints are approximately 40 by 50 cm, with the box height of about 4 cm. Captions below in English.
Released only for this presentation from a box in equally excellent overall condition.
From a private collection; it is often described as iconic and hard to find, here we are truly looking at a one-of-a-kind piece, a must-have for Omega collectors, astronautics memorabilia, and historians.
Careful and appropriate packaging and trackable shipping, of course insured.
