Antique Silver (.800) Niëllo Pocket Watch – Huguenin Frères – Ery Chronometer (circa 1915) - Working!

Description:

For sale: a beautiful and historically consistent Swiss gentleman’s pocket watch from the period around the First World War (circa 1915–1920). This piece combines a rare, high-quality case with an extremely precise chronometer movement.

Main features:

•Case: Made of .800 silver (official Swiss assay with the auerhaan stamp). The exterior features a beautiful geometric Niëllo stripe pattern (black enamel). The niëllo lines are in exceptionally good condition with no major damage.

•Case maker: Huguenin Frères (Le Locle, Switzerland). Marked with the official master mark "NIEL HF" on the inside.

•Movement: High-quality, gold-plated Swiss inner works, signed with "CHRONOMETRE ERY" (Hauser & Fils). Fitted with ruby bearings and a factory-adjusted precision regulation.

•Dial & Hands: Original metal dial with a military character. Featuring Arabic numerals, a 24-hour scale, and the iconic 'Cathedral' hands with authentic vintage patina. Subsidiary seconds at the 6 o’clock position.

•Condition: The watch is in a beautiful, original vintage state. The movement runs immediately and the seconds hand ticks smoothly.
