A compulsive and spontaneous creator, Bruno Cantais lives in Lyon; he explores several techniques, ranging from abstract expressionism in the vein of Rauschenberg or De Kooning, to material projections in the Georges Mathieu style, to Pop Art collage or the expressivism of Karel Appel, wandering the borders between abstract gesture and figurative representation. But his signature remains this physical painting, this matter worked with the body, a testimony to the artist’s intimate monologue.
Artist listed by Artprice, Drouot, and Akoun since 2005.

Recently participated in the Art3f fair in Lyon in 2017.
Recent exhibitions in Chisinau (Moldova), Cannes, Pézenas and Lyon Chamber of Commerce and Industry gala evening.
