An attractive copy of this scarce book of illustrations of the seven deadly sins. These seem to have been previously printed in a slightly different format, as sheets in weekly issues of "La View Parisienne". Offered here as a separate volume.
Soft covers and 21 leaves, printed to one side of each only. In fact there are ten double page spreads of potentials sins!
This is published in magazine format, with large soft (stiff card) covers. There are darkened and a little nicked to the edges, and splitting to much of the spine.
Internally, most of the gathers are disbound. The double sheets are still in one piece, and on the whole are clean and tidy.
The whole is an attractive art nouveau vision of the deadly sins, where they are shown as attractive and slightly erotic.
A scarce item. We can find none online available at the present time.

We are professional booksellers based in France, and have been members of ILAB for many years. We currently hold full membership of SLAM, as well as other organisations. We also sell at fairs and markets across Europe.
We are often found at brocantes and marches, searching for books and prints. We are also always interested in acquiring new stock from individuals, so if you have books or prints to sell, do get in touch.
We are proud to purchase biodegradable packaging and materials. Where possible, all of our book wrap and tape are compostable or re-cyclable. If you do receive any plastic bubble wrap from us - it is because we are re-using items we have received.
