A pair of solid oak nest tables in the Neo-Gothic style (ca. 1920–1940) from Belgium, featuring a hand‑carved heraldic shield on the large table and trestle supports, with overall good condition showing minor age marks and patina, measurements: large table 54.5×54.5×34.5 cm and small table 38×26.5×34 cm.
Description from the seller
A special and rare set of two nest tables in solid oak, crafted in the Neo-Gothic style — a stylistic period inspired by medieval Gothic, popular in Northern Europe between circa 1880 and 1940.
The tables are recognizable by their characteristic trestle supports with Gothic arch-shaped cutouts and the striking hand-carved heraldic shield in a circular medallion on the larger table — a mark of artisanal craftsmanship.
The solid oak has developed a warm, deep patina over the years, underscoring its authenticity and age.
