Sigmund Freud - Sigmund Freud - 1969-1989

The 'Studienausgabe' comprises about two thirds of the Freud texts contained in the 'Standard Edition'; the editor of the famous English Freud edition, James Strachey, himself contributed to the conception of the 'Studienausgabe'. To this day the 'Studienausgabe' is the only critical German-language edition of the main part of Freud's oeuvre. The volumes are organized by topics, providing the reader with quick orientation in Freud's diverse body of work. Within the volumes equipped with extensive editorial apparatus, the chronological structuring principle applies.
