Walter Geraci presents I pensieri fioriti, an original oil and acrylic on canvas portrait from 2020, hand-signed and framed, 60 x 80 cm, with certificate of authenticity and delivered directly from the artist.
Description from the seller
Oil, acrylic and gold on canvas - entirely handmade - with certificate of authenticity - framed and ready to hang - 2020 - shipped inside a sturdy and well-protected package.
The painting is a stage of violent contrasts. A woman's face emerges from a sea of gestural brushstrokes, her dark, piercing eyes looking directly at the observer with enigmatic omniscience. She wears a white and gray gauze turban, a structure that supports a monstrous and magnificent hairstyle: an explosion of gigantic flowers in intense pink, magenta, and fuchsia that fuse with the dark tresses, not as a decorative crown, but as an organic part of her mind, fertile thoughts blooming with explosive force. The background is a jumble of pale pink, gold and gray, with brushstrokes that hint at other shapes, such as hibiscus flowers and fragments of molten gold. Around the neck, a pendant with a large emerald green stone, a bond between the immaterial and the concrete.
It is said that if you gaze intensely into the eyes of the woman in the painting until the background disappears, the central flower will seem to move and you will be inspired, accompanied by a light scent of jasmine.
