A magnetic and intensely expressive portrait dominates the surface of the canvas, where the face of a young woman emerges with force from a vibrant red background, almost aflame. The composition is built on a sharp and refined contrast: the enveloping warmth of the background dialogues with the cold, milky tones of the flesh, creating a visual tension that immediately captures the gaze.
The figure, represented frontally and slightly from below, adopts a proud and almost iconic posture. The coppery, wavy, luminous hair expands like a living flame around the head, partly blending with the background and amplifying the sense of energy and movement.
