What makes this specific volume an absolute unicum is it’s the magnificent, custom-made leather binding, sumptuously embellished with an authentic, highly detailed antique silver heraldic medaillon/fob on the front cover. Central motif is a beautifully patinated silver shield in the Victorian/Edwardian style featuring the deeply engraved latin motto: ‘’IN LIBRIS FONS”(In books lies the source / fountain of knowledge). The silver centerpiece is meticulously set with three grnuine, natural gemstones polished as smooth cabochons, 1 rare translucent green natural moldavite integrated into the upper hanging loop and 2 vivid red natural rubies set in dedicated circular bezels flanking the base of the shield.
