Deruta - Jardinière - Ceramic

A large and superb Italian 1950s polychromed and 24K gilded jardinière in Byzantine mosaic style, measuring circa 45,3cm in length and weighing 2,7kg, the oval vessel with large handles sitting atop a round foot, marked with Deruta, Italy and (makers?) mark "M" to the underside.

Condition: Very good, tiny chip to the inside rim, no further damages or repairs. Minor wear to the gold.
