Description from the seller
Biografía
Emanuele Tuccio.
He is an unusual artist, who paints using only his fingers: the result is a "movement-static" that invites the observer to freely interpret it.
Born on March 7, 1990 in Gela, a Sicilian city overlooking the Mediterranean. He started attending private art school at the age of 10, somewhat for fun, somewhat because he found fertile ground under his hands to nurture his talent. Here he develops his artistic knowledge, refining and delving into various techniques. In his works, in chiaroscuro with graphite, the portrait, the human body, and still life prevail. Much like many who approach the artistic world for the first time, but with a substantial peculiarity: “the refinement and softness of the details.”
After obtaining the surveyor diploma, he attended the Academy of Fine Arts of Florence and Palermo, where he finds an infinite breadth of global cultures, particular techniques, and unusual sculptures; and it is precisely this confrontation with the world that broadens his conception of art and makes him understand that it is life.
The years he spends painting, the desire to stand out, the ambition and the humility that distinguish him will lead him to choose what today is his language, made of only four elements: a canvas, a white acrylic, a black one, and... his hands. No brushes or palettes; Disassembled, tacit, furious works that make room for an hyperrealism that results in an oxymoron of “noisily silent” sensations.
“Direct contact with the artwork, feeling the viscosity of the material between the fingers, the roughness of the canvas, give me the sensation of being outside the cage!!!” [cite. E. Tuccio]
The canvas will be accompanied by a certificate of uniqueness, signed by the artist.
