Titled “The Fracture of Being,” this creation explores the tension between who we truly are and what society pushes us to become. The cracked female face is split between light and dark: one half soft, vulnerable, the other dark, almost scorched, symbolizing this inner fracture. The aged golden background, inspired by the old walls of castles, underscores the timeless and tragically human aspect of this piece.

It evokes the difficulty of being oneself in a world that pushes us to wear masks, sometimes to the point of losing our soul. I wanted this work to touch, to shake, to question. One can read pain, beauty, and a fractured identity in it. It is a raw work, but deeply human.
