JonOne’s Rough, Rugged and Wild is a 2026 hand-signed limited-edition silkscreen on Keaykolour 250 g paper, 50 × 70 cm, with gold powder and black ink, produced in France by Galerie and in excellent, unframed condition.
Description from the seller
JonOne – Rough, Rugged and Wild – 2026
Original silk-screen print by JonOne, produced in 2 color passes with ink enriched with real gold powder, on Keaykolour 250 g paper.
Format 50 × 70 cm.
Limited edition of only 60 copies, numbered and hand-signed by the artist.
With Rough, Rugged and Wild, JonOne delivers a particularly powerful composition, dominated by a spectacular contrast between the deep black of the background and the intensity of the gold ink. The gestures cross, overlap, and occupy the entire surface, in this free and energetic handwriting that has become immediately recognizable.
The presence of real gold powder in the ink gives this edition a special character: depending on light and viewing angle, the golden traces reveal different nuances and enhance the depth of the composition.
A key figure in the international graffiti scene, JonOne directly draws on the energy of New York writing that has accompanied his work since his beginnings. The title Rough, Rugged and Wild perfectly translates this aesthetic: raw, spontaneous, and decidedly urban.
With its particularly limited run of 60 copies, its large format of 50 × 70 cm, and the use of gold powder, this silkscreen constitutes a very fine edition by JonOne, as visually strong as it is representative of his artistic universe.
Artwork in perfect condition and never framed, kept flat.
We ensure meticulous packaging, international tracking, insurance, and express shipments for all our deliveries. The numbering may differ from the photos.
Biography: JonOne (French-American, born in 1963 in New York), famous for works influenced by graffiti, was born in Harlem, where the art of colorful and elaborate graffiti evolved. He began, with a childhood friend, to create graffiti of his name at the age of 17. In 1984, he founded the Graffiti 156 All Starz collective to bring together graffiti artists.
After moving to Paris in 1987, he began working as a painter on canvas in a studio. He quickly made a name for himself in the Parisian art circles thanks to his canvas works, was exhibited in 1990 at Gallery 45 in Berlin and participated in the Graffiti Paris exhibition, where his work is presented permanently. His works have appeared among the highest bids at graffiti world auctions.
