Willy Vandersteen (pencils/script); Frank Sels (inks)

Willy Vandersteen (1913-1990) was one of the founding fathers of Flemish comics, creator of Suske en Wiske and De Rode Ridder (The Red Knight) among more than 1,000 albums across 25 series.

Frank Sels (1942-1986) was one of the regular artists who inked De Rode Ridder from 1963. This page (pages 31-32) is from De Rode Ridder album 25, 'Het Rijk van Enid' (1965), plotted and drawn by Vandersteen and inked by Sels.

After this book Vandersteen wouldn't pencil the series himself anymore.


The comic book itself is not included.
