Vintage Panther Leather Bifold Wallet
CARTIER.
This vintage Cartier wallet is made of glossy burgundy leather and accented with the house’s signature silver Panther clasp on the front flap - Founded in Paris in 1847, Cartier elevated the panther to the emblem of the house under Jeanne Toussaint in the 1930s, and it has since become one of the most recognizable hallmarks of Parisian high jewelry and leather goods. "Cartier Paris" is stamped on the exterior.
The folding wallet opens to a fully burgundy leather-lined interior with multiple card slots, two long bill compartments, and a secondary snap pocket for coins or notes, with a second inner stamp "Cartier Paris" on the flap.

Condition details: The glossy burgundy exterior shows surface wear with fine scratches on the polished finish and a matte abrasion area near the front Cartier stamp where the finish has been rubbed. The silver Panther clasp shows a slight patina and is fully functional. The burgundy leather-lined interior shows darkened areas, light stains and handling marks on the panels, but it is structurally intact, with all card slots and snap buttons in working order
