Description from the seller
Haussmannian apartment at blue hour: light wood paneling, chevron parquet, gilded mirror, amber-shaded lamp. Standing by a dresser, a young brunette woman in black lace lingerie, stockings and garters, holds a twin-lens camera at waist level, gaze lowered toward the viewfinder; seated near the window open to the rooftops and a bridge over the Seine, a second woman in a black bodysuit, legs crossed, appears to pose or dream. Semiotically, the painting stages the game of gaze and model — the photographer, the one who is seen — in the hushed intimacy of a Parisian interior at dusk. The contrast between the amber warmth of the lamp and the cool blue of the window structures the composition. Soft facture, luminous impasto, atmosphere of hushed sensuality.

The artist also explores different forms of artistic production. Some of his works are reproduced in series on primed canvas stretched on frames, creating limited editions accessible to a wider audience. Other works are produced as unique paintings on canvas, adding an exclusive and authentic dimension to his collection. Le Yack's style reflects a fusion between traditional realism and the creative possibilities offered by digital technology.
