Original work by Brazilian artist Regina Chulam (born 1950), titled “Aquário,” created in 1988.
Waxed acrylic on canvas, dimensions 55 × 38 cm. Work signed bottom left. On the reverse there is a handwritten inscription by the artist as well as an original label indicating the title, the dimensions, the year 1988 and the technique “acrílico encerado s/tela” (translated here as “waxed acrylic on canvas”).
Abstract composition inspired by the sea, in a palette mainly of black, gray and white, with touches of green, blue and brown.
The canvas is mounted on its original stretcher and has a hanging system. Sold without an external frame.
Good overall condition considering its age. The painted surface is well preserved. Some light signs of age, marks on the edges and dust on the verso are visible. No known restorations. The photographs are an integral part of the description and show precisely the condition of the work.
The work will be carefully protected and packed for transport.
