Pair of refined Liberty style (Art Nouveau) centerpieces / cachepots in bronze with original trays.
Magnificent pair of centerpieces or small cachepots for plants in Liberty style (Art Nouveau), made in solid cast bronze with exquisite bas-relief work, dating presumably to the late 19th or early 20th century.
The central bodies feature the typical sinuous, biomorphic and floral lines of the artistic period, embellished by grotesque masks and refined profiles of stylized female figures on the sides.
Each piece rests on four small shaped feet and retains its original metal inner tray, removable, an element that attests to the completeness and authenticity of the set.
Approximate dimensions: 25.0 x 8.0 cm, height 9.0 cm. Weight: 687 and 678 grams.
The items are in good overall condition with a splendid original patina of time and well-defined artistic details.
