"Eira" arises from my interest in exploring light, color, and the serenity of the marine landscape through abstraction. In this work, turquoise-green tones unfold in an open, bright composition, where color transitions and the depth of the layers suggest the calm of the water and the vastness of space. I am not seeking to depict a specific place, but to evoke a sensation: that moment of quiet when the sea and the light seem to merge into a single inner horizon.
Painted entirely by hand with acrylics on canvas, Eira is a contemporary, unique, and original abstract work belonging to my Sea Series, a collection in which I seek to explore the essential beauty, luminosity, and atmosphere of the Mediterranean from a personal perspective.

About the artist:

My name is Gaby Acevedo. I am a visual artist. I live and produce my works in Spain. For more than 25 years I have been developing an artistic practice focused on contemporary abstract painting, where color and light are the pillars of my visual language.

My work arises from research into the relationship between form, color, and perception. Each series responds to a different exploration, but all share the purpose of transforming the visual experience into a language open to emotion and free interpretation.

Each work is unique and entirely handmade in my studio with high-quality professional materials. All my paintings are signed, dated, and delivered with a certificate of authenticity.
