Description from the seller
Wherever It Came From
MiLo (1976), Netherlands
Wherever It Came From presents a strange yet oddly playful presence, emerging from a composition of bold black forms against a warm, subtly textured off-white background.
Something vaguely familiar seems to appear within the abstraction — perhaps a figure, a creature, or simply a collection of shapes that happens to look back at us. Its mismatched eyes and irregular forms give the work an almost humorous character, while leaving its origins entirely unexplained.
The limited palette and strong graphic composition give the painting a striking contemporary presence. At 150 × 125 cm, it is a substantial statement piece that works particularly well in modern and minimalist interiors.
Acrylic on cotton canvas.
Size: 150 × 125 cm.
The painting will be shipped carefully rolled in a protective tube.
