This artwork “Underwater No.36” – number 36 from the Underwater series, is 103 cm x 80 cm ( + 3 cm border for stretching) acrylic paint on canvas, 2026, this is a unique, hand painted artwork. Glossy Varnished.
Underwater 36 explores the rhythm, movement, and collective energy of life beneath the surface. Thousands of flowing, fish-like forms move together in sweeping currents, creating a sense of constant motion while suggesting the harmony and interconnectedness found within the underwater world.
Deep blues and turquoise dominate the composition, creating a feeling of depth and immersion. Against this cool palette, touches of crimson, violet, and magenta appear like flashes of life moving through the water. The sweeping circular movement draws the eye inward, creating a visual vortex that feels both powerful and peaceful.
I am interested in the contrast between individuality and togetherness. Each small mark is distinct, yet when viewed as a whole, the marks become a living current. Underwater 36 invites the viewer to imagine being carried within that current—to let go, move with the flow, and experience the quiet energy of a world beneath the surface.

The artwork will be shipped as a rolled, unstretched canvas for safe delivery. Packaged in tube box and wrapped properly.
Rolled works can be easily stretched (for canvas works, i.e. placed onto wooden stretcher bars) and/or framed by a local framer upon arrival. Minor waves or creases may be visible upon arrival, which is completely normal for rolled canvas. These will disappear once the canvas is stretched or framed by a professional framer.
All my shipments will be made through DPD,GLS or a similar company , always trying to guarantee the safety, care and efficient delivery of the work. However, delays that may occur are beyond my control; I will always be attentive tracking the shipment and any incident that may arise, being at the customer's disposal to provide appropriate assistance and support.

I was raised in a family where art was a way of life—my father, an architect, and my mother, a painter, deeply shaped my creative path. I choose to present my work under a pseudonym. My real name, as well as my website and social media details, will be provided to the collector upon purchase of the artwork.
I graduated from the University of Arts in Bucharest, specializing in Painting under the guidance of Ion Sălișteanu, and later continued my studies at UQAM in Montreal, Canada. My work has since been exhibited internationally, from New York to the Venice Biennale, from Rome to Bucharest.
My paintings reflect my life experiences and personal journey. Each artwork tells a story and invites the viewer to connect on an emotional level. I hope my art inspires reflection and a sense of connection. My paintings found a home in collections all over the world.
