This hand-carved wooden bird sculpture is a traditional Indonesian or Balinese wood carving, presumably made from tropical hardwood or ebony in the mid-century era (the 1950s–1970s).
Made of solid, darkly figured hardwood with a natural, warm wood grain and stylized Art Deco features.
A graceful bird (such as a heron or raptor) with openwork, outstretched wings and refined, V-shaped kerf lines.
