MUMA - Transparencias 27 (XL)

In the series “Transparencias” we explore form not as something closed, but as a meeting place. We work with layers that cross each other, brush against each other and transform among themselves, where color stops being a fixed identity to become something alive, unstable, deeply relational. What appears is not the sum of isolated elements, but what happens in that interstitial space, almost invisible, where everything blends and redefines itself.

Transparency here is not a mere visual effect, but a way of being and thinking about the world. Nothing remains intact: each plane modifies the other and is, in turn, modified. We are interested in that moment when things stop being what they were to become something else, that place where identity becomes permeable, open, in constant transformation.

From there, the work also speaks of us. Of how we build ourselves in relation to others, of how we are never completely clear nor completely opaque. We are layers, crossovers, affections that intertwine. We cross through, we let ourselves be seen, we hide and we change. And it is precisely in that shared, fragile, changing space where something more honest appears: a way of being that is not fixed, but continually built in the encounter.

About MUMA:

MUMA is an artistic duo formed by a 3D Generalist and Designer and an Art Historian, both trained at CEU San Pablo University in Madrid. Their artistic practice centers on the visual arts, with particular interest in color, movement, and the dynamism of forms, as well as in variations of the environment. Their work is conceived to integrate into the space and establish a direct dialogue with routine and human experience, exploring a vital vision linked to the ideals of Impressionism, such as the relationship with nature, color, and changing environments. MUMA is connected to the professional world of digital and plastic arts in Madrid, with participation in competitions.

About preparation, packing, and shipment of the artwork:

The work is hand-signed by the artistic duo and also comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by them. The canvas, rolled, is carefully packed in a sturdy cardboard tube and will be shipped within three business days after purchase confirmation. The estimated delivery time will depend on the destination and the chosen shipping company.
