With XOLOXY, I explore the encounter between form, light and color in a contemporary abstract composition designed to create a visual presence that is both strong and soothing.
At the center of the work, a gentle geometry seems to gradually emerge from the light. Around it, the colors diffuse into halos and successive gradients, giving the composition a sense of depth and subtle movement.
Each work in the XOLOXY series undergoes specific graphical work around light. I build my compositions through overlays, variations in intensity, gradients and halos, in order to create a visual model that transforms the perception of the central shape.
