With XOLOXY, I explore the meeting of form, light, and color in a contemporary abstract composition designed to create a visual presence that is both strong and soothing.
At the center of the work, a soft geometry seems to gradually emerge from the light. Around it, the colors diffuse into halos and successive gradients, giving the composition a sense of depth and subtle movement.
Each work in the XOLOXY series undergoes a specific graphical treatment around light. I construct my compositions through overlays, variations in intensity, gradients, and halos, in order to create a visual modeling that transforms the perception of the central form.
