Valerio Nasini - Custode

Leriovanas is a multidisciplinary artist who works with heterogeneous materials such as leather, terracotta, plaster, paper, plastic, strings and natural elements. His/her research focuses on the relationship between matter, identity and memory, giving life to three-dimensional works with a strong symbolic and emotional impact. Through tactile surfaces, stitches and overlaps, the artist transforms matter into a language capable of telling fragility, silences and resilience.

Critical description: Horns and stones transform the face into an archaic relic. The skin seems to belong more to the earth than to the human body, recalling a shared origin with the natural elements.
