Corravale - Donnaplano

I use the pseudonym "Corravale" and I am quoted in public auctions. The quotations are available on a globally known site (Artprice); the company behind the site is headquartered in Paris. I have permanently collaborated for about 20 years with the L'Androne Gallery in Scicli. There I had the opportunity to hold collective exhibitions with artists from the Group of Scicli: Piero Guccione, Franco Sarnari, Franco Polizzi, etc. The exhibitions have always been successful both in terms of public attendance and sales. I have held solo exhibitions at the Centro culturale Meno Assenza in Pozzallo. The latest exhibitions were in Genoa and Venice. I provide directly the certificate of authenticity signed by me. I decided to exhibit on Catawiki to gain experience with this app; it seems interesting to present my art, which comes from an “institutional” path, expanding my experience into a new frontier of art, like Catawiki. I am interested in the potential that Catawiki has to project itself into the management of “institutionalized” artists and consequently to have a role as an advisor, in a fragmented and confused art world. These recent paintings, all bearing the same title, are part of a new series in which I represent parts of the female body integrated with the aerodynamic shapes of an airplane. It is a conceptual act that seeks to portray a woman with a dynamic and free spirit. The airplane in this case represents the intellect, the freedom of communication, and of course it is not a warplane. The canvas painting is shipped already framed. Inside the packaging I attach the authentication. The work is accompanied by official SUE documentation from the Italian Republic's Ministry of Culture, submitted and signed by the artist for the purposes of international export of the work. The SUE (Export Offices System) procedure is mandatory for shipping artworks outside Italy and constitutes important provenance and traceability documentation.
