Subject and Theme:
A Mona Lisa that does not winkle at you, but challenges you.
The work transforms the most famous icon in the history of art into a provocative manifesto, where the classical image blends with an explosive and unexpected detail: a young modern woman licking a lit flame.
Fire becomes a symbol of desire, of danger, but also of autonomy. It is an ironic and raw gesture that breaks every passive idealization of femininity.

Technique and Creation:
The composition develops on two visual levels: the background faithfully reclaims the original face of the Mona Lisa, on which a backlit panel is mounted inside a red continuous-light LED frame.
Inside, the contemporary scene: a girl lights a lighter and brings her tongue near the flame. The effect is powerful, disturbing, impossible to ignore.
The work uses mixed media and high-definition printing on rigid support, combining digital art, LED art, and pop references.

Inspiration and Curiosity:
Gioconda Lollipop V.2 is a game of rupture and reinterpretation.
The lollipop is absent: there is a living flame.
A reflection on women's freedom of expression, on new forms of identity, and on how art can still provoke today, even starting from an image everyone thinks they know.
It is an ode to aesthetic disobedience, designed for those who don’t want to hang a painting… but a declaration.
