Rare exquisite pair of antique double oval silver cufflinks with hand-painted miniature depictions of hunting dogs/greyhounds - Early 1900s
Splendid and rare pair of antique double oval cufflinks made in silver, decorated with finely hand-painted miniatures depicting refined dogs (greyhound/shepherd/hunting style). A piece of great elegance and notable collecting interest.
Material: 800 silver (hallmark present but barely visible/partially worn by time, as shown in photo).
Decorative technique: Hand-painted enamel miniature on a silver background, rich in detail and with a beautiful natural antique patina.
Subject: Depiction of two different dog types for each pair of ovals (one dog with a fawn/white coat and one with a black/white coat).
Structure: Classic double-oval model joined by the original bar.
Dimensions per oval: 15 x 20 mm
Total weight: 9.3 g
Conditions: Good antique condition with an untouched original patina to preserve its ancient charm. Slight and natural signs of time on the painting that guarantee authenticity and manual execution.
