"Geometries in Dialogue" arises from the meeting of structure, color, and sign. Vertical and horizontal components build the architecture of the work, while circles, lines and small geometric elements introduce movement and new points of equilibrium. Deep greens, bright yellows, browns, and blacks alternate, letting the material of the surface emerge. The contrast between rigid forms and freer painterly traces creates a contemporary composition in which every element seems to dialogue with the one nearby.

Paolo Contin has a long artistic career. He trained in the world of design and since 1980 has worked in fashion and art. Since 1999 he began to exhibit his works; in 2002 his first solo show in Padua, followed by many exhibitions in Italy and abroad, including Copenhagen, Munich, Paris, Brussels, Istanbul, Buenos Aires and Sydney.
