Beautiful vintage copper pail (copper bucket) or a log-block holder 
Antique models were already used in the 18th and 19th centuries as milk pails or water pails 
This bucket is of later origin, though it has been riveted with rivets and has a handle 
Nowadays often used as a decorative log bin for the fireplace or as a plant pot 
Overall in good vintage condition, no dents with slight signs of wear

Antieke modellen werden in de 18e en 19e eeuw al gebruikt als melkemmer of wateremmer
Deze emmer is van latere orgine wel geklonken met klinknagels en met een hengsel
Tegenwoordig vaak gebruikt als decoratieve houtbak voor de openhaard of als planten bak 
Geheel is in goede vintage staat geen deuken met lichte gebruikspoortjes
