This work, executed in oil on canvas, presents an atmospheric vision of architecture where movement and light transform a ordinary scene into an image that is almost abstract. In the center of the composition a façade with a balcony emerges partially, barely defined among broad streams of color that cross the entire surface.

The palette is predominantly cool, built from blues, turquoise, grayish greens, and petrol tones. The variations between light and deep zones create a sense of depth and an enveloping atmosphere. Within this chromatic universe a small focal point of warm yellows and ochres appears in the architecture, acting as a light point and guiding the eye toward the balcony.

The technique is characterized by long, diagonal, very fluid brushstrokes, applied in such a way that the shapes seem to move across the canvas. Oil allows layering and blending of tones while preserving some transparency and luminosity, while some more defined strokes recover recognizable elements of the façade. This contrast between precise zones and deliberately swept surfaces creates an effect similar to a photograph taken during a fast camera movement.

The diagonal direction of the brushstrokes provides a strong sense of speed, wind, and transformation. The architecture seems to appear and disappear within the painting, as if it were an image held for only a few seconds in memory.

Expressively, the work sits between figuration and abstraction, using a recognizable architectural element as a point of connection with reality, but letting color and movement be the true protagonists. The dominance of blues generates a more introspective and silent feeling, while the small warm illumination of the building introduces an indirect human presence.

The result is a dynamic, mysterious, and contemplative painting, where an urban scene becomes a visual experience based on speed, perception, and memory.

This series explores the perception of places and life scenes as if they were memories that appear and disappear before they can be fully fixed. Facades, balconies, boats, flowers, and other recognizable elements emerge among long and directional brushstrokes that blur the surroundings and transform the image into an experience between figuration and abstraction.

Movement functions not only as a visual effect but as a way of speaking about time, memory, and the fragmentary way we remember spaces. Each work preserves a recognizable point within a surface that seems to move, as if reality had been captured during a fleeting moment.

The canvas is carefully rolled and securely packed in a sturdy circular tube for shipment.
