For a long time Martin Parr's lens hunted the indicators of mass tourism, from the most ancient sites (the Parthenon, the pyramids of Egypt, the temple of Angkor) to the most phony (Las Vegas and other miniature world towers).
His images are punctuated by an unending procession of cameras, beach balls, cameras, and Hawaiian shirts... and here, Venetian pigeons!
