Beautiful 4/4 Saxon violin from the Vogtland region, Markneukirchen. The violin dates from the 1930s and shows little wear, although it has been played a lot. Beautiful is the well-preserved original varnish and the lovely flame of the wood used. The top plate is also finely figured.
The sound is warm and dominant.
