AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Who walks whom? A funny scene of a crab with a pufferfish stuck in its claw. They stroll calmly along the sea floor. An apparently absurd scene that plays with the reflection of relationships, control, and interdependence.

Technique: acrylic painting on canvas.

The work is in perfect condition.

The marked dimensions of the work are those of the painting once stretched and mounted on the frame. The actual canvas dimensions are larger to allow for its mounting.

The work is delivered without a frame (professional packing, rolled in a tube). Your local framer should restretch it and mount it on a frame.

Hand-signed. Includes certificate of authenticity.

Seller's Story

I am a visual artist with a figurative focus. I draw inspiration from nature and usually observe it closely; very often I take photographs to capture unusual frames, seeking perspectives that are uncommon and lead to interesting compositions. Although I start from reality, I like to transform the color palette to move closer to a fantastical reality. I enjoy reinterpreting the world from my imagination and capturing that personal version of things. Sometimes my work becomes more geometric, closer to illustration. I like to explore abstract or geometric interpretations of elements and concepts, as a different form of expression within my visual language. I also create digital illustration, a medium I enjoy for its logic, distinct from painting: I experience it as a game with different rules, opening up new visual and creative possibilities. As an architect, I find mural painting to be the perfect way to unite my two passions: art and space design. Intervening walls, both indoors and outdoors, allows me to bring my work to another scale and transform the environment in a direct, vivid, and meaningful way.
