Herend - Serving dish - Indian Basket Multicolor - Porcelain

Beautiful, classic porcelain serving dish (cake plate / presentation dish) from the famous Hungarian porcelain house Herend.
This square dish with graceful handles and a wavy rim is masterfully hand-painted with a refined Chinoiserie motif (flower basket decoration in Oriental style, framed by a detailed border and loose floral motifs on the border). The porcelain features the characteristic engraved osier/basket-weave pattern in relief and is finished with 24-karat gold accents along the edges and handles.
On the underside, the piece is hand-signed and bears the authentic blue Herend stamp and is numbered 431/ fd 12.
Dimensions: height 3 cm, width with handles 27.5 cm, length 24.5 cm.
